Yesterday when I sat down to write my Friday blog for the week, I felt angst over what to write. All week I’d been thinking about a subject yet nothing came to mind.
I instantly stepped outside of myself and said to myself: “Ayshah, why are you putting so many demands on yourself? You are a perfectionist with everything you do. This time of year is when you especially do this to yourself.”
I thought: “You’re right, Ayshah!”
Women especially are self destructive. Everything from body image to the way we think seems to compete with our own selves.
Self-destructive behavior is often a form of self-punishment in response to a personal failure, which may be real or perceived.
My point is that I needed to get off my own back and just relax. No one is asking or expecting this blog so there really was no need to fret.
My New Year’s resolution is to start to be self-loving and to respect my needs above all. Self-loving doesn’t mean I am selfish, it just means that I am nourishing myself for the good of those around me.
Happy Holidays!

I do not have any tattoos on me but ever since the Ed Hardy (http://www.examiner.com/x-18242-Mesa-Fashion-Examiner~y2009m9d9-The-downfall-of-Ed-Hardy) craze surfaced, I have thought about it.
Still not brave enough to get one and not sure I’ll ever be but if I were going to a tattoo shop, I would explore on here first…

It’s kinda cool and low risk and there are over 3000 designs you can take to your tattooist.

Like any entrepreneurs’ mind, I often wonder what Henry Ford would have crafted for a Science Fair Project. Ha!
Everyday each of us plays Marco Polo with all the discoveries that Benjamin Franklin would be amazed out today… maybe that’s a stretch! Like when I first discovered the Table Toss’, ColorOn Pro make up, and many more that my brain may explode from thinking about! I just want to share my recent discoveries with everyone so just like Ayshah does, I decided to. I just love to shop, surf the web and just people watch. So enjoy links to my favorite products, services, etc without being sold hard to check it out…
ColorOn Pro… I bought these online when they first came out and now, I’ve seen them at Sephora. They are cool because I am not into spending a ton of time putting eye makeup on. Only thing I didn’t like was how wet the first application was (Oh, and I used one application about 3 to 4 times not just once like the instructions say). Otherwise, I didn’t regret buying them once. Would I buy them again? Hmmm… verdict’s still out… http://www.coloronpro.com/
Pandora.com… Who needs iTunes when Pandora.com plays what I like all the time. Oh, did I mention, IT’S FREE!!! I don’t have any regrets signing on right now. Would I sign up again? Hmmm… right now, yes but the verdicts still out… http://www.pandora.com/#/
Table Toss… Okay the perfect accent pieces for any table and there is no fuss at all. My guests are pretty neat folk so I reuse them. They say they are disposable but I use them about 5 times before ‘toss’ one. Would I buy them again? For sure… http://tabletoss.com/
